Integration of the storage and retrieval machines

Expansion of logistics center is coming to an end: storage and retrieval machines integrated into new high-bay warehouse.

On Tuesday, 28 March 2017, the storage and retrieval machines were delivered and installed for Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG’s new high-bay warehouse at Würth Industrial Park in Bad Mergentheim.

Five completely automated SRMs operate in the five aisles of the newly erected high-bay warehouse at Würth Industrie Service. The warehouse, which is 45 m high and 120 m long, is among the largest warehouses of its kind in Europe and forms the basis for continued maximum supply security for all customers.
